WHO WE ARE
Two names.
One local business.
It started in Cullman in 1951, when Werner's Trading Company opened as an army surplus store. Over the decades it grew into Cullman's apparel, shoe and outdoor destination — the kind of place where a family could find work boots, a grill for the backyard, and a gift for grandma in a single visit.
In 2022, the second generation of the Werner family retired and sold the store to Britt and Laura Wood. Two years later, the Woods opened Wood's Trading Company in Gardendale — a modern flagship carrying that same tradition forward, with a full online store shipping nationwide.
